Universal LED Systems
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Long Lasting - LED's last up to 10 times as long as comparable incandescent and halogen bulbs Since LED's do not have a filament, they are not damaged as filament style bulbs are.
- Cool - LED's produce 3.4 btu's/hour, compared to 85 btu's/hour for incandescent
- Efficient - LED's use 25% less energy compared to a standard halogen bulb
- Modular LED - convert existing ligting systems using the LK-OL16 kit without replacing the entire system, with the confidence of a full recovery of the investment, approximate recovery of investment 12-24 months
Flexibility - LED systems that encapsulate the LED Emitter in the body of the fixture limit the ability to change a beam spread, or decrease or increase lumen output as landscape specimens grow on the project. With these type of systems the entire fixture needs to be replaced giving the owner a very expensive and inflexible proposition.
External Driver - allows a separation of the two primary heat sources (Driver and Emitter) providing a longer life. An inexpensive solution to replace driver if it should fail (90% of all LED failures occur with the driver), also easily replaced in the field
- Output - Universal Directional Spot LED (OL16) is a 3 & 5 watt 15°, 35° or 60° Beam Spread
- The Beam spread is determined by a field replaceable optic lens that directs the light output
SPECIFICATIONS
- Lumens -
- 3 Watt Warm White produces a total 270 Lumens
- 5 Watt Cool White produces a total of 450 Lumens
- 5 Watt War White produces a total of 450 Lumens
- MR 16 Halogen bulbs have Lumen outputs ranging from 9-15 Lumens per watt depending on the manufacturers specification and lumen output is generally not disclosed. (20 Watt = avg 240 lumens, 35 Watt = avg 420 lumens, 50 Watt = avg 625 lumens)
- Kelvin - Is the unit of measurement to determine the color of light produced by the bulb or LED emitter.
- ULEDS OL16 are available in Warm White (2700K)
- Voltage - Universal LED's are a DC LED that operate with an inline AC/DC Driver requiring an input of 9 to 15 volts AC from a standard Low Voltage Landscape Lighting Transformer
- CRI - Color Rendering Index for ULEDS LED products average 84
