Warranty

Universal Lighting Systems, Inc., (UNVLS) warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty is as follows:

FIXTURES

Lifetime warranty against corrosion on brass materials. These finishes will vary over time but will be warranted NOT to corrode. Brass finishes include WB (Weathered Brass), CF (Copper Finish), and BS (Brushed Silver). Aluminum fixtures are warranted for five years against corrosion (peeling, or flaking). Electrical Hardware (limited to sockets and internal wiring) is warranted for a period of five years.

ULEDS

UNVLS ULEDS products are warranted for a period of 5 years, or 50,000 hours whichever occurs first. ULEDS Emitters and drivers are warranted for this period of time under normal operating conditions. Drivers and emitters are not submersible. ULEDS components may be provided under warranty as opposed to a whole new ULEDS system.

TRANSFORMERS

All Stainless Steel transformers are backed by a limited lifetime warranty on the enclosure and internal components against mechanical defects. Timers, and or photocells are limited to a 90 day warranty under the manufacturer's warranty. Transformer components such as Circuit breakers, photocell plugs, timer receptacles, relay switches, thermal resistors, or terminal blocks that fail under normal operating conditions can be field replaced by a licensed contractor, and are covered under a 10 year warranty. These warranties are limited to material defects only. At UNVLS discretion the product will either be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not include labor or transportation costs. The warranty does not cover acts of nature, lightning strikes, vandalism, misuse or abuse, accidents, or improper installation. This warranty covers only products manufactured by UNVLS, and does not apply to any equipment of another manufacturer used in conjunction with UNVLS products. Transportation charges must be prepaid by the purchaser.
